Towards the Dreaming Funeral Services

pledged of $55,000AU

Looking to create a much needed Aboriginal Funeral Service on Noongar Boodja (Perth n surrounds).

Please help with the launch a much needed Aboriginal funeral service in Perth Western Australia – Towards the Dreaming Funeral Services.

Death and dying are all too familiar to us Aboriginal people, every week we lose a relative, friend or someone that we know yet we don’t have our own funeral services. Help us change this please.

Our culture, our mob, our way.

I’m looking to raise $55,000.00 in 12 days to start the business. Please contact me for more details.

I am Sharon Todd I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aboriginal Community Management and Development, and a Cert II in Leadership. I also have extensive work experience in the public and private employment sectors specialising in procurement and project management.

I founded Towards the Dreaming Funeral Services to fill a void with our mob and to strenthen culture and tradition in our funerals for our mob and others who wish to practice and pass on their funeral traditions.

I am warm, compassionate, and supportive, I think that I inherited her dad’s strong work ethic, and I strive to help people at every opportunity.

I have directed 4 family funerals under a single funeral permits and have been doing work experience with Jillian at Mayfair Funerals for the last couple of months. Jillian has said that I am ready to run my own business.

If you feel you could help in other ways please give me a call.

I acknowledge our Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which I work and pay our respects to Indigenous Elders past, present and emerging.
