Who Are We?

Mind for Life (MFL) is a newly registered charity organization formed to provide holistic health solutions to the general public, especially for those that cannot afford services such as counselling, life coaching, nutrition and wellbeing education. We wish to provide health awareness seminars and support groups to those in need by collaborating with churches, government organizations etc.

Our Mission

Holding the belief that a healthy mind is a vital precondition for both physical and mental health, Mind for Life insists on taking the health promotion through public awareness campaigns as the top priority. Connecting individuals and the community with our team of medical and health professionals, MFL aims to provide holistic support, education and treatment to our clients on their journey to optimal health. We expect to make health services more accessible to the public in various specialty areas of health like nutrition, life coaching, psychology, fitness, and mental health, via our affordable seminars and workshops, support groups, newsletters, TV and radio programs, social media and individual therapy, treatment and advice. Following our passions and efforts, we are committed to improving the physical and mental wellbeing of Australians, especially our children, youth, and elders.

Current Project

One of our projects at the moment is overcoming obesity in Australia, and in particular within the low socio-economic population.

“People living in the lowest socioeconomic status (SES) areas have a mortality rate 1.3 times as high as the rate among people living in the highest SES areas, and higher rates of death due to diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).”

(Australian Institute of Health and Welfare 2014. Mortality inequalities in Australia 2009–2011. Bulletin no. 124.Cat. no. AUS 184. Canberra: AIHW )

Everyone deserves to get help regardless of their financial situation, and we want to do this by

· providing support groups

· offering nutritional and health advice

· Coaching to transition to a healthy lifestyle.

We understand that being overweight or obese often includes lowered self-esteem and anxiety, and more serious disorders such as depression and eating disorders. We want to provide the emotional, mental and physical support to overcome the barriers thus live a healthier life.
