Instant Herbs Green House Campaign

Instant Herbs is an organic herb grower who is providing fresh cut herbs to the market place. In particular we are providing a service to the Catering and Hospitality industries by supplying fresh cut herbs directly from the farm in Lara Victoria, Australia to their door.

We cut, package and deliver the herbs on the same day, so the only way to get fresher herbs is to grow them yourself. Our herbs are organically grown in soil. Most herbs purchased in the supermarket are Hydroponically grown and usually has a lower shelf life 1 to 2 days. Our flavour is more defined and the herbs will last at least a week if kept in fresh water (changed daily). We have a grow it your own option available as well.

Fresh Herbs from the farm

The herbs that will benefit from the green house environment are the summer herbs Basil and Corriander. As well as Mints and Parsleys.

On Good Friday 2017 we built a green house that would house our summer crops through winter as they need a temperature of around 15 degrees to continue growing. However with the weather around at that time it destroyed the green house twice.

We were devastated when we woke up to this the following morning. We almost gave up. (The tubs shown on the left side of the pic are the actual size of the tubs recieved by Full Pledges).

This is what we built prior to the devastation.

Now we are wanting to provide an opportunity for the crowd to assist our business to fly higher with the building of a modular High Top Green House that will with stand the weather that destroyed our other green house.

Now this is what we want to build in its place.

Regardless if we raise the funds that are required we will be able to honor the rewards for pledged funds. The green house is to assist in stablizing supply through winter. Winter reduces the growing cycle of the plants. Once the frost is gone the herbs will be invigorated and flourish through the warmer months.
