Story

Homo Ignarus focuses on one of the oldest debates known to man, religion vs science, and is told through the lens of teenage sisters who disagree on the existence of God. One believes in evidence, and one believes in faith, promoting them to each seek their own answers and find what they uniquely believe is the truth….

Our Mission

Homo Ignarus will be produced by Perth-based filmmaker Aron Attiwell who is currently making noise with his own proof-of-concept short, Fading Numbers. The film will be co-produced by Josiah Dunjey who recently produced the award-winning short film, The Gift of Years.

We have such an amazing team of remarkable people joining us for this project and it truly involves a broad range of industry crew, businesses, shires, and communities. We are creating opportunities for young aspiring filmmakers to learn and gain experience on a film set and to network with other established filmmakers. Beginning with Homo Ignarus, Joshua Scattergood has high hopes of producing multiple feature films under Prodigy Films.

With an already strong crew, we plan to use the completed film as leverage for the expanded feature project and also showcase our work at international film festivals. There is so much potential in this project but we just need enough funding to get us over the line…
