WHO WE ARE

From our humble beginnings inside my Kings Beach apartment, the concept of Avasa Ritual has grown into a beautiful and vibrant community of people, seeking to support themselves on a deep and multi-faceted level. We are a holistic skin therapy business that performs clean, green, organic, advanced skin and body treatments with a whole person focus. 

We support local, handmade and organic businesses and love to collaborate with others in the wellness and healing industry to create a thriving community.

Avasa Ritual is a space where results driven skin treatments meet embodiment and soul work. Our bespoke rituals are driving epic results topically and facilitating huge shifts in the physical and emotional blocks that hinder us from accessing our highest health and vibrancy – and it is truly incredible to watch. Most of our clients have been trying to find the service we offer for many years, but were previously forced to compromise somewhere to get results, or to feel pampered. Usually on quality of ingredients, quality of treament, cost or inconveneient locatino.

In Buddhism, Avasa translates to mansion, a place where we dwell. In Pali it means home. In Sanskrit – free. When I came across this word I couldn’t think of a more apt description in what I wanted for myself and my clients. To recognise their body as their mansion, to come home to themselves, and feel intense freedom in doing so. 

Our rituals and treaments are completely plant-based, organic and free of any synthetics and nasties. The skin industry has long said you can’t achieve results with organics – but with a magic touch, excellent consultation and a deep understanding of how the body interacts holistically we are getting results that we can’t even believe. 

WHAT WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH

After the restrictions from COVID-19 lifted in Queensland, we saw our community prioritise their wellbeing in an unprecented depth and we are so privildged and grateful that you have trusted us with your skin and your soul. We moved into a commercial space in late 2020. Shockingly we have already outgrown this space and we are being guided to a new location.

We need some help getting started with out fit out. It is a non-negotiable for us to source all of our materials sustainably and locally, without contributing unneccesarily to waste and landfill. 

Our new space will be community minded. In addition to our services already, we have plans to host weekly mens work meetings from this location, as well as women’s workshops and rite of passage events for youths and adults. Honoring your skin is largely about honoring yourself and we will create a space that considers our clients holistically. 

We will be forever grateful for your help in making Avasa Rituals more accessible in our community and have many options for you to choose how to invest in us, but most importantly yourself.
