Who Am I?

Michael the Living Poet (Me). I am a street performer who aquired a huge couch. With it I have been spreading my message to Australia on two National Tours with countless other venues in between, visiting most States. You May Well Remember Me.

The Message!

“Get Off Ya Couch’! Is delivered by me through a novel approach of Special Storytime in the Couch! Photos and purchase of merchandise to help spread the message.

The Aim!

“The Aim of the Campaign is to encourage people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds to Get Off Ya Couch and participate in the everyday;

Walk your dog, fly a kite, become a volunteer, ride ya bike, grow a garden, learn a musical instrument, tell ya kid a story, and so on… Join the club!”

This Campaign?

Is to enable me to sustain the journey and continue spreading the message. It has been a major struggle with price of petrol and weight restrictions with limited income.. But I have perservered to countless festivals, street corners, shopping centres, fairs and so on.

How Can You Help?

1.          The Couch needs a Re Vamp…New Uphostery!

2.          The Trailer it is housed in requires a third axle for weight!

3.          And the tow vehicle needs upgrading.
