Cook with Carley and The Kitchen Kart

Hi, my name is Carley and I am passionate about a wholefood plant-based lifestyle. As a family we have not only enjoyed but thrived on a WFPB regime for almost 3 years with no thoughts of ever going back to old habits. We have seen first-hand the many health benefits by choosing this lifestyle and everyday I vow to help as many people as I can learn the secrets to thriving with plant foods.

I started out by changing my food blog/social media presence to showcase all the delicious plant-based foods we made (and enjoyed). Upon lots of requests I obtained a local council food licence for my home kitchen so I could sell my food. I also created a private FB group for all my recipe & food creations and went on to creating 3 e-books. Meanwhile, I also began doing private cooking classes to teach others how easy it truly is to flourish with a plant-based life. You name it I’ve done it; and I have loved helping people in a variety of ways but my true passion lays in teaching. I love cooking for others who are time poor and need support with meals etc but with every cooking class I hold I realise my love of teaching others is my true purpose.

A lot of people don’t enjoy cooking, they find it’s hard work due to either lack of time, skill or creativity. I want to change this. I want people to know it can be easy, fun and delicious plus there are plenty of ways to save time and money. Furthermore homecooked food always tastes better (the secret ingredient really is love).

I currently run the cooking classes from home and due to limited space, I can only have so many people attend a class at one time. I would love to take my cooking classes mobile so that I can reach more people. That is where The Kitchen Kart comes in. With this amazing new innovative design, I can take my classes anywhere and everywhere. This mobile kitchen is designed to plug in to normal power making it easy to take anywhere. I could teach at a community hall, a park, a school, workplaces or even hold demonstrations at events, the possibilities are endless. I would love to be able to spread my passion for homemade plant-based food to more people. To show them that plant based does not mean eating boring salads and it certainly does not mean missing out on the occasional fun treat foods. My goal is to teach people the balance needed to sustain a plant-based diet. It does not need to be expensive; it does not need to be dull; and it certainly does not need to be hard work.

I would love your help to reach my goal to raise funds to purchase The Kitchen Kart so I can take my cooking classes mobile. I want to teach people eating plant-based foods is not only fantastic for your health but that it is sustainable, affordable and most importantly delicious.
