“The Show Must Go On”

We want to prove a concept.

That you can take an emerging band out of the garage or the egg carton rehearsal room and teach them how to be a professional touring Band in under 2 weeks. 

How will we do this?

We decided to launch Behind the Wall with a contest to give away our first training course.  We are looking for a band with the most passion, desire and commitment to making it in the music industry to then teach them everything they need to know at a 10 day retreat. 

Let’s call it the Ultimate Band Camp.

We will teach them stress management for when they are on that long tour.

We will teach them the ins and outs of the business of gigs and the industry.

We will work with them to make their songs the best they can be.

We will put them through Roadie School so they understand the production of a show.

We will help them build their brand and Market themselves to their audience. 

The most important part of our their training will be 10 days of live rehearsals with a monitor engineer to make their sound as tight and professional as it can be.

Then “The Show Must Go On”

0n the 11th day they will hit the stage as the headline act at their own show that they have been promoting and selling for the last 10 days. The gig will be at Badlands Bar on the 12th of October. 

We will support them till the end

That’s not all, during the training we will work out a 90 day strategy to use the new skills and momentum to have the best year of their musical career. 

 Who am I?

My name is Jared Nelson and I am a Musician, I was a singer and a song writer in Vision Triangle and The Suburbans.

I am a Roadie, I have been working on concerts and productions big and small for over ten years and have seen how little emerging artists use the resources at their disposal and the often lack of professionalism they have when they get on an off stage. 

I am a trainer and facilitator who has set his sights on designing courses to help build a stronger synergy between bands and the live production industry in an attempt to create more work for everyone. 

I am a productivity coach I help people beat procrastination by setting goals that can be achieved and help individuals or groups define action steps to get things done.  

We need YOUR help

Your funding will help us help the music industry by chipping in to the costs involved with this music industry retreat. You will help pay for accommodation, food, transport and the time of the industry professionals who are delivering the course with me. Most importantly you will help create the first testimonial of many bands that will say
