Howdy readers, please get behind us as we launch our first beer, the ” Malt Sandwich” to market.
No longer a pipe dream, the beer we formulated from scratch and crafted as a gypsy brewer at Craft and Co in Collingwood, was canned and kegged on the 15/3.
We think you’ll enjoy it,,,,heck, you better. It’s got a “lovely slightly sweet malt and a smooth hop bitterness” said the head brewer
This was the best way for us to bring it alive, but brewing on this scale ( 1000 litres) with only the best sourced ingredients is not as cost effective as on larger systems.
That is why we need your support, so we can head back to the brewhouse knowing that Yarram can have it’s very own brew ongoing, and we won’t stop there with associated projects…. and who knows even our very own taphouse soon.
But hey you don’t have to be from around here to join in. We love travelling and volunteering our services at lots of different regions. We would love to see you come down and enjoy everything else Tarra Territory has to offer
We think there’s a level for any supporter and am most willing to talk to potential stockists and partners regarding Bandywallop Projects going forward.
Remember it’s not just about the beer, you can make a real difference supporting micro industry and contributing to worthwhile causes as a result ( Goal reaching surprise). Also there’s not a lot on offer first time around so get in for your chop, or Malt Sandwich.
Thanks for tuning in and remember to hashtag #onthewallop to show your support.

Sorry it's been awhile between updates ( but not sandwiches)
Hey, thanks so much for your support once again, really been blown away by it so far.
You may have noticed the campaign cut off date has moved out an extra ten days.
Why is that you ask? or even if you don't, here's why.
The launch date of May the 5th is fast approaching and whilst we have had lots of enquiry, this hasn't yet translated to selling it out as yet. That's not a big issue, however there will be no "on the night ticket sales" due to it being a crowdfund/ reward based system. It's a lot more streamlined with licensing arrangements.
Also we feel sure now that the ale is now being distributed and reviewed pretty darn well that after the launch there will be some serious scrambling for the allocated sangas.
What will happen if we don't hit the $8500 target? Well we won't be sitting there crying into our open top cans thats for sure, but the more galvanised we are in support, the more it justifies heading back to the brewhouse . If we go over total wise it's significant. Total supporters and funds would mean we are in the sweet spot to give this ol brew thang a real nudge..
Cheers and stay #onthewallop

Some exciting news in the wings, cant wait to share
Thankyou again for the great support. We have decided to run a promo for those that sign up each week.
Every week of the campaign we are going to draw a name from the hat for one contributor to win a load of cut firewood. Never fear if you aren't drawn the first week as non winners will go back in. Even if you don't have a woodfire i'm sure you will know someone that does. Possible to drop into Melb at some stage also.
Hope you had a great weekend and pass the word around ( the karma might get you over the line )
