SYNOPSIS 

The film is about the life Of Ali. Even though his family have migrated to Australia from Afghanistan long back, they still follow the good old traditional Afghan way of life.Ali’s friends think that Ali is happy and living the best of life but in reality deep down he carries the baggage of so many things and sadness at this age. Ali’s father mostly being away from him at young age and not having that great relationship adds to his stress, he also believes that his father is the main cause for the death of his mother. It’s the story of a high school student with lots of pressure on his shoulders, leading him into a situation that will force him to choose life or death.

BREAKDOWN

The Short Film has its different and vary expenses, our crowdfunding will go directly to the following outlays to be able to make this film happen. Also, where the money will be going towards the costing are below and helping young filmmakers, actors from the Western Sydney communities. As every dollar helps to be able to make the film happen.

FUNDS WOULD BE USED FOR?

We are aiming to raise $16,000 which would help in so much towards the gear, locations, artists, crew and cast.

The money raised will be going towards, equipment hires, location, cast, crew, editing, music composition, colour grading, catering and as we are aiming to start filming in 2019 and to completed by 2019.

ABOUT THE CREW 

SAMIA HALABI – PRODUCER

Samia Halabi is an Australian, Lebanese filmmaker, actress from South Western Sydney and worked across Western / South Western Sydney and all over NSW. She is got involved into films for the past 6 years and still growing into her career. Now owning her SANATI PRODUCTION which is Multi-Platform Production in 2019 and stated to develop more of her projects and accomplished two of her short film in 2018 which where in 3 film festivals (2 in NSW 1 Sami-Selected in Dubai) and 1 in the exhibition. As well as worked on a feature film called THE COMBINATION REDEMPTION in 2017 as an Extra and Production Assistant and worked on 2 Web Series as an Actress, Extra, 2nd AD, First Aid. 2014 she worked on a short film DEADLY FORECAST as a Fortune Teller, Producer, Transport.

ZABI MALKI – WRITER ACTOR

Zabi Malik was born in Afghanistan and grew up in south Australia. His been involved as an actor in 2 theatre shows (Curry Kings Of Parramatta) and (Musical Island: A Silent Spell). He got his Diploma Of Screen And Media (Acting) from New York Film Academy and Enjoy’s writing and Directing, which has been his focus on learning and creating new shows and projects for a production company (Channel Number One).

Sanjeev Mehra is recognized as one of Bollywood’s well-respected professional. A passionate and innovative multi-talented down to earth Sanjeev is a skilled Actor/Director/Animator/Writer and Editor. Sanjeev offers over thirty eight years of experience with a strong balance of creative, technical and people-management skills in Indian, Indonesian and Australian film, television and advertising industry.

Sanjeev begin his career in 1977 in India, directed his first short film at the age of 16 and never looked back since then. He has directed more than 200 projects including T V commercials, corporate, documentaries, TV serials and short films.
