Crowdfunding for startups and early stage projects – Brisbane

April 11, 2018 location : Arc Hardware Incubator, Level 1, 186 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006

Crowdfunding for startups and early stage projects

So now that we have new equity crowdfunding laws in Australia, what’s in it for you and other early stage StartUps?

To answer these questions and more we’re inviting Matthew Pinter, Chairman of the Crowdfunding Institute of Australia and Equity Crowdfunding Licensee Billfolda.com for a special event at the new Arc Hardware Incubator  on the 11th of April at 6pm.

Matt will be helping us unpack the new laws and proposed amendments that should expand the opportunity to proprietary companies.

Find out if the crowd is the right option for growth, promotion and funding, and consider what unlocking early stage investment will mean for the general public.

Matt will also be accompanied by Jill Storey. Jill is also on the board of the Crowdfunding Institute of Australia and is the CEO of ReadyFundGo, Australia’s reward based platform for start-ups and existing businesses.

Jill will cover how a reward based campaign can be used to test your MVP and as proof of concept before undertaking an equity campaign or future raise.

Matt and Jill are happy to take any of your questions on-board so if you are wondering:

  • – What’s the best way to sell shares in your start-up?
  • – Different funding strategies based on the type of product you offer?
  • – What the legal framework applies?
  • – What is a realistic amount to be looking to raise?

If you would like to join  us at 6pm on the 11th April and see the new fabulous Arc Hardware Incubator space at level 1/ 186 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006,

please e mail us at info@readyfundgo.com to confirm your attendance
