Rewards
Our brewery adventure started with a phone call 6 years ago between two best mates living at opposite ends of Victoria. Alec had some land that needed a project, Tim was a brewer dreaming of running his own show. They both loved beer. They got to thinking and before long, Alec had lured Tim and his family to the beautiful Mitta Valley with promises of fame and fortune, and a peaceful country life.
Fast forward to 2017 and after years of hard work and plenty of country good times (though not much fame and fortune) we are finally on the home stretch to bringing our independently owned brewery to fruition.
Funded entirely by our generous families and our own savings, the four of us have hand built every stage of the project, from a paddock to a nearly completed brewery. Tim’s brew kit has also been built from scratch and beer production is already in the works.
We are so close but we need your help to get us over the line.
While the brewery side of things is now sorted, our front of house is still under construction. And so, with funds raised from excellent folks such as yourselves, we plan to fit out our kitchen and bar area and pay the plumbers and electricians to do the final fit-out, jobs we are not qualified to do ourselves.
The first $10,000 will pay for the tradespeople and anything on top of this will enable us to purchase additional kitchen and bar equipment (eg. glass washer, display fridges) and maybe even a delivery/uber van so we can get your beer to you faster.

We’ve hit 150% (that’s 30 grand!) on our crowd funding today so it seems like a good day to thank our latest supporters! We’d like to give a huge round of applause and big thanks to Carolinna, Michael Ilott, the Mitchell Teeks, Simon & Rachel, and Kath. You guys have amazed us with your willingness to jump on board and help us out.
There is still 9 days left of our campaign so keep sharing and let’s see how far we can go!
We have been bottling beer these last 2 weeks and now have all 3 of our brews in bottles. It’s carbonating and conditioning, and getting better by the day while we wait for our awesome labels to arrive. Our internal ceiling has gone up and our waste treatment system is in position. Work on the irrigation field begins next week. At this stage we are working towards an opening in late January. Stay tuned for more details here.

Wow, our crowdfunding campaign just keeps going from strength to strength! We have almost hit 150%! These extra funds donated by our awesome supporters will go towards the irrigation field for our waste treatment system, which means we are one step closer to having toilets on site (YIPPEE)!

While we've been having a super busy and productive week on site at the brewery, week 2 of our crowdfunding campaign has seen the pledges keep on coming!
We've had supporters continue to sign on to get their beery rewards while helping us out and we'd like to give a big shout out and thanks to Douglas, Brian Hatch, Peter Chalmers, Deidre Fitzgerald and Terry & Donna Cardwell.

We have now reached our target of $20,000!! Its been a massive week and thanks to you, our awesome supporters, we got there in record time. We are so thankful for all your support, you guys rock!
But our campaign doesn't end here. Ready Fund Go will keep the Mitta Brewing Company campaign open until it's official end date in early December. So if you want to get on board with our brewery mission and make the most of our beer lovin' rewards, you still can!
All further donations will be gratefully received and will help hugely with costs as we move from building project to fully operational brewery.
