Shattered is a drama short film produced as a collaboration between WA Screen Academy and the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).

Shattered is inspired by a real event that happened to our director Mason Allen when he was assaulted by a stranger on New Year’s Eve. Our film explores the darker side of nightclub life and how one irresponsible act can directly impact those around you, as well as having a lasting impact on yourself and your family.

image

Your contribution is very important to us!

To make Shattered look real and exciting, we will need to close an entire nightclub venue, fill it in with extras, hire a stunt coordinator for the physical and violent scenes and of course, make sure all cast and crew are well fed and taken care of.

By supporting us, your money will go towards:

$ 1200 for location fees

$ 1200 for catering ( 4 full days of shoot, 2 meals a day for 100 people including cast, crew and extras)

$ 700 for art department and props

$ 600 for a professional stunts coordinator on set

$ 300 for festivals entry fees
