Hi, I’m May Johnstone, founder of Virtual Engineering Tech (VET). VET is a startup engineering firm made up of professional engineers and designers in Australia dedicated to innovation and designing high tech solutions that help conserve natural resources and maintain sustainable development.

Established in 2016, VET was my way of doing my part to provide cleaner air, soil, water and conserving natural resources by designing holograms and using digital technology as a

substitute to road signages and outdoor advertising which require a whole lot of natural

resources such as steel, plastic and other related materials. The importance of these resources to our environment cannot be underestimated and irrational consumption or overutilization of these resources can lead to serious environmental issues.

I developed a vested interest in Virtual Products since childhood as a result of my father’s teachings. He always taught me from a young age that there are a million ways to help people. He always encouraged me to strive to ensure I did everything I could to improve the community and make the world a generally better place than I found it.

I adopted a single vision; trying to find as many ways as possible to help people in my immediate community and the world around me. This vision gave birth to a life-changing dream that could solve the major problem of modern living. I planned on creating a company based on virtual technology that could eliminate or lessen the use of physical resources to preserve the natural products. And just like that my startup, VET and our Flagship Product; Vtech_holo Device was born.

WHY CONSERVATION SHOULD BE EVERYONE’S PRIORITY

Our natural resources are limited. Eventually, the metals that we are mining, the minerals we’re extracting, and various other resources we are exploiting will all deplete. It’ll take millions of years for the resources to get reproduced again.

Mining raw materials destroys the habitat, contaminant the three elements of our survival; air, water and soil, releases toxins, ruins ecosystems and eventually destroys our beloved earth.

VTECH_HOLO HOLOGRAM GENERATOR DEVICE

Vtech_holo is our breakthrough design product, a device that can generate virtual holographic images of objects and outdoor advertising signs with cutting edge visual technology. The “Hologram” devices in the market today usually need glass, smoke, or water to bounce light from them to function effectively, but the Vtech_holo Device has no such need.

Vtech_holo Device not only helps preserve natural resources as a substitute for traditional advertising and road signage, but it also saves billions of dollars in operational costs which are used to build and maintain them.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The device works in two ways;

It can be projected from the side of the sign and generate virtual images, or it can be attached directly to a single frame and generate virtual images.

OUR VIRTUAL TECHNOLOGY

Apart from major advantages above, our technology offers many benefits such as:

Reduce the cost of operation to a fraction of current operational cost by minimising the use of raw materials.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

Our device is powered exclusively by solar batteries so there’s no danger of it harming the environment.

PRESERVATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES

Vtech_holo device conserves metal, plastic, wood and other natural resources that are used for traditional billboards and road signage.

VERSATILITY FOR SECURITY AND EMERGENCIES

Holograms can be used to enhance the security holograms are a replica of holograms produced from high technology equipment, thus are difficult to forge. The VETech B Virtual device can also be used for emergencies and relief situations. A portable holographic banner can be extremely useful when trying to get the attention and communicate in emergencies especially when there are power outages caused by natural disasters.

THE IMPACT

Our mission at Virtual Engineering Tech has always been for communities to have cleaner air, soil, water and more resources for future innovation. Our innovation attempts to solve a significant problem in outdoor and signage industries that have an impact on general society, implementing a new disruptive way. Our innovation promotes positive change and better health, including but not limited to areas of sustainability, conservation of raw materials, cleaner and eco-friendly environment, and cost reduction of operational cost.

Some of the ways mining and over usage of natural resources can affect the nvironment include:

We believe that Virtual Engineering Tech can go a long way in solving these issues with

Virtual Device and other future innovations.

WHERE WE’RE AT

We’ve been working on VETech B Virtual device for over 2 years now. We’re currently working with the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). The NSW government supports our investors through tax offsets. But we will be needing additional support, this is why we’ve decided to set up a crowdfunding campaign on ReadyFundGo. We believe a sum of $30k will put us in a solid place financially.

With your help on this campaign, we can make our immediate community and the world, in

general, a bit better by conserving our valuable natural resources. While we’re close to entering production, your contribution will help fund:

RISKS & CHALLENGES

As of now the only major risk we are likely to face on this campaign is a delay in delivering the rewards for backers. Nevertheless, we have contacted a reputable logistics company and they have assured us they will make sure the rewards get to our contributors as soon as possible. Considering the Christmas and New Year’s holidays and the hustle and bustle that comes with that period, we estimate that all rewards should be shipped the latest by the last week of January according to our timeline. We will keep you, our valued contributors, apprised of any and all updates, especially any delays that we may incur.
